Brocade Certification Program aligns with SNIA SNCP
Networking Professionals who hold the Brocade Certified SAN Manager, BCSM, can now apply their Brocade certification toward the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) Certified Storage Network Expert certification (SCSN-E).
The alignment of Brocade's storage networking certification with SNIA's expert level certification provides further opportunity for certified individuals to achieve acknowledgment for their skills, and recognizes the growing demand for network professionals with the ability to design, install, and support today's storage networks.
SNIA certification candidates who hold all three SNIA certifications plus one vendor certification can qualify for the SNIA Certified Storage Networking Expert (SCSN-E) credential. The requirements are:
Requires passing the SNIA Storage Network Foundations exam (S10-101)
Requires passing the SNIA Storage Networking Management/Administration exam (S10-200)
Requires passing the SNIA Architect - Assessment, Planning & Design exam (S10-300)
Plus one Vendor Certification.
To date, Brocade, Cisco, EMC, Hitachi Data Systems, Hitachi Ltd, HP, and NetApp have started working with the association to ensure that storage network professionals who hold their certifications can apply these credentials toward SCSN-E certification under the SNIA's Storage Networking Certification Program (SNCP). //
