Infinity I/O partners with SNIA US to deliver advanced certification courses

SNIA Education announced:

We are delighted to announce today that Howard Goldstein Associates, Inc. and Infinity I/O, led by Managing Director and Lead Instructor Peter Coleman, have been selected to deliver SNIA Certification Training at the SNIA Technology Center, Colorado Springs, during calendar year 2008. These two firms will deliver all the curricula in the SNIA’s Storage Networking Certification Program. After a rigorous RFP process, we are thrilled that we have two companies whose expertise and insight into storage networking technologies enables SNIA to deliver the best training experience possible. Having that training delivered at the SNIA Technology Center in Colorado Springs (where the storage industry develops such standards as SMI and XAM), allows students to see millions of dollars of storage networking equipment in a working environment. A complete hands-on component utilizing SNIA’s storage networking equipment (much of it donated through SNIA’s Technology Center Champions Program) allows students to further integrate excellent classroom presentation with practical experience.

Already the response to course announcements has been gratifying, and registrations are filling up for classes throughout the year. Discounts on SNIA certification testing are available for multiple-course and group purchases.
